Room 280 provides a unique opportunity to display your presentation on a massive, seamless 32-foot wide by 10-foot high (10m x 3m) floor-to-ceiling video wall. Located on the second floor of the British Columbia Institute of Technology downtown Vancouver campus, this interactive display is one of the largest multimedia screens in Western Canada and includes advanced gesture control functionality.

BCIT will provide an HDMI cable to connect your device to the video wall. If your device needs a specific adapter to connect to the HDMI, please remember to bring an appropriate one along. It will project your screen onto the video wall. You don’t need download any specific software for this.

The video wall has different display options you can choose from.

Option 1

• Side by side 16 x 9 displays using two HDMI inputs from one or two laptops or a single HDMI input mirrored side by side

Option 2

• Single 16 x 9 centered from one HDMI input

Option 3

• Full screen combining two HDMI inputs on a single laptop for full 32:9 widescreen. (PPT custom slide size would be 73cm x 20.5cm)

Some sessions may want to provide an image to display on the OLED screen, close to the Tech Collider. The OLED screen image should be 8192px x 2160px (32:9).
