Session Slide Deck Template
There is a PNW Drupal Summit presentation template available for speakers. If you do not use the template, please copy slide 2, "Thank you to our sponsors," into your slide deck (download sponsor slide JPG).
- Open the presentation template in Google Slides.
- From the File menu, select Make a copy, then Entire presentation.
- Enter a name for your presentation and choose where you want to save it in Google Drive.
- Select Make a copy.
The original template is read-only. Edit your copy rather than requesting edit access to the original.
A/V Info
The two classrooms (381 and 472) will have projectors with HDMI connectors and podium mics. The main room (280) has a special 10-foot tall, 32-foot long video wall. Please see the room 280 page for details about options for displaying your slides on this impressive display. In the main room there will be a podium mic, lapel mic, and three wireless handheld mics available.
You are encouraged to bring a charger. Powerstrips will be available throughout the conference area.
Arrival
Please familiarize yourself with the schedule (note Day 1 and Day 2 are on separate pages). Plan to arrive at your presentation room 10 minutes early to get your presentation queued up and the projector working. We'll have some team members available to assist.
Recordings
With the help of the Drupal Recording Initiative, we'll record each session so we can make it available to the wider community after the event. If you would prefer not to have your session recorded, please speak to the conference organizers.
The recording will capture the screen and your voice, no camera is set up. Please be conscious of showing secret information during your presentation. If you notice something, speak with the recording volunteers afterwards.
Don't forget to press the red button when you begin your presentation. No doubt several people will remind you.
During your presentation, you are encouraged to stand near the podium so the microphone for the YouTube recording can pick up your voice. You are also encouraged to repeat any questions from the audience so the recording can pick up the context.
