When I'm not working on biotech company development, or biotech workforce education, I work on Drupal websites. Two (Biotech-Careers.org, InnovATEBIO.org have been rebuilt from Drupal 7 to Drupal 10. One more is Digital World Biology.com) still on Drupal 7 and will be rebuilt in Drupal 10.
Another site, Antibody-Engineers.org started on Drupal 9 and was upgraded to Drupal 10 two years ago. I supports projects related to an Antibody Engineering Hackathon we've run for the past four years. In those events I lead data science and artificial intelligence projects to understand antibody repertoires and antibody / antigen interactions. This year (2025) we're looking into generative AI to design new kinds of antibodies.
When I'm not doing any of the above, I'm consulting with biotech companies, or walking around Seattle, hiking, taking pictures), entertaining grand children, or working with wood.
