Bjorn Thomson has worked in web technology in both technical and leadership roles, including six years as a developer and team lead at the University of British Columbia. He has experience with various aspects of technology, including development, visual and interaction design, marketing, content strategy, and web analytics. He is committed to delivering business and user value, and to helping organizations build sites that are closely aligned with strategic goals.
Bjorn believes that the key to creating outstanding websites is to approach the task of design and development with curiosity, intellectual rigour, and an open mind. Asking the right questions, like "What do users want?" and "How is this site meaningfully differentiated from competitors' offerings?", supported by testing and research, helps us to uncover business value.
When not working on technology projects, Bjorn enjoys spending time with his family, camping, fishing, boating and generally enjoying the beautiful BC outdoors.
