Volunteers needed at the Summit this weekend

The Pacific NW Drupal Summit is happening this weekend, Oct 17-19 (Fri-Sun) at the University Place Hotel in Portland, Oregon.

We need your friendly faces at the registration tables, the party, and as a runner to help our coordinators.

Are you a student? Can't afford a registration but would still like to help out and be at the Summit! We need you!

Please get in touch with us today at http://2014.pnwdrupalsummit.org/ — use the volunteer sign-up form in the sidebar. Thanks in advance!

Where: Mercy Corps Action Center (28 SW 1st Ave.)
When: 6pm-10PM

Transportation:
#12 Bus to Burnside, then just a short walk to 1st and Ankenny. Venue is next to the Skidmore Fountain MAX Station.

Thanks to our awesome sponsors!

Some amazing sponsors have stepped up this year to support the Pacific Northwest Drupal Summit. Summit would not be possible without sponsorships, as the registration fees alone are not enough to cover the costs of the event.

The PNW Drupal Summit thanks this year's sponsors for stepping up as leaders in the Drupal community. View the sponsors.

Session submission deadline extended!

The PNWDS organizing committee has decided to extend the deadline for submitting session proposals by one week. If you missed the original deadline, you can still submit a proposal by midnight on Friday, September 12, 2014. Register for the conference, then submit a session.

Home brewers: Donate beer to summit party

Calling all home brewers! Want to help add a unique, community touch to the summit party? Show off your brewing skills by donating your home-brewed beer to the event. We are looking for donations of 5-10 gallons of beer from each brewer. The beer may be in bottles or in kegs (ball/pin/sankey connectors all OK). Contact Tyler Ward, @twardnw or twardnw in IRC (#drupal-pnw or #drupal-pdx), to express interest.

Session Deadline Approaching (Sept 5)

A number of people have submitted some great session proposals so far for this year's PNW Drupal Summit. You probably have a great topic to share, too! The deadline for session proposals is quickly approaching: September 5, 2014.

Although the summit is intended for people experienced with Drupal, sessions can range from beginner-level to advanced. There are plenty of tracks available, too: Business and Project Management; Code and Development; Information Architecture and Site Building; and Theme Development.
