Bio
I started programming at age 11 (TRS-80 and Apple II) but ended up doing liberal arts in university. I've been working on the web for over 10 years, in just about every role there is (designer, producer, IA, programmer) and I've used technologies such as ASP, Java/JSP/Struts, Cold Fusion, and .NET.
Now I work full-time exclusively with Drupal as a freelance developer. Currently I'm the lead developer on Reality Sandwich and Evolver. I'm also finishing some sites for nonprofits, including Equal Justice USA and Mindful Peacebuilding Institute.
Last year I moved from Washington, DC to Missoula, Montana for the fresh air, hiking, slower pace, and quality of life. So far I love it! I'm looking forward to more frequent trips to visit friends and Drupalistas in Seattle, Portland, Vancouver, and other places in PNW.
When not beating up hook_nodeapi I enjoy being active in local environmental and sustainability initiatives, practicing mindfulness in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh, riding any of my four bikes, cooking, good coffee, and classic Star Trek.
